Snagpad · last updated 5 August 2026
Snagpad is free to try. Two paid options unlock it, and this page states plainly what each one commits you to.
Snagpad can be used without paying anything. Free reports include the first five defects; everything else (recording defects, photographs, annotations, the re-inspection walk) is unrestricted. Nothing you record is ever held hostage: your data stays on your device whether you buy or not.
| Option | Price | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Yearly | €79.99 / year | Renews automatically each year until you cancel. |
| Buy outright | €199 once | A single payment. Nothing renews, ever. |
Prices are shown in your own currency inside the app, and that figure, not this page, is what you will be charged. Both options unlock exactly the same features.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
You can manage or cancel it at any time in the Settings of your Apple Account, or from Settings inside Snagpad. Cancelling stops future renewals; the current period runs to its end.
A one-off purchase tied to your Apple Account. It stays unlocked on every device you sign into with that account, and can be restored at any time with the “Restore purchase” button in Settings. There is no recurring charge.
Purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple rather than by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something is not working, please write to us first: most problems are quicker to fix than to refund.
Snagpad records what you tell it and produces a document from it. It does not inspect buildings, verify claims or provide professional advice. The accuracy and completeness of a report remain the responsibility of the person who compiled it. The app is provided as-is, without warranty that it will fit any particular purpose.
Covered separately, and briefly, in the privacy policy: there are no servers, no accounts and no analytics. Optional syncing uses your own iCloud account, which we cannot read.
